My fine art teacher Siegfried Hahn passed away in 2008. With permission from the executer of the Hahn estate, Howard Wexler, I have put up some of his artwork.

Born in Randfontein Transvaal, South Africa in 1914. He became an American citizen in 1973. Mr Hahn won the Turner gold Medal while a student at the Royal Academy London where he studied under such greats as Sir William Russell Flint and Dame Laura Knight. He studied in South Africa, England and France while traveling extensively in Europe and Africa. A polyglot; he spoke English, Dutch, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Greek and Turkish. He was a disciple of Jacques Maroger and taught the old master's painting techniques to many student including myself..

Comprehensive biography was published in 2008
